Having looked at this view for many years and never tiring of watching the seasons being reflected in the surrounding flora and fauna, as well as by the colours of the crops grown and harvested in the nearby fields, we knew we had to come up with something special to enhance and share this stunning part of the Otter Valley. And so the little acorn of the idea for Otter Pods Glamping Park was planted.
With our background in property design and building, we knew any glamping pods designed for this site would have to be natural and hunker down into the landscape. We also wanted the Pods to have a contemporary feel and be usable all year round, with all the mod-cons, to give our guests a truly luxurious and cosy environment for their country escape. So with the mix of traditional oak cladding, window and stable door, galvanised & chrome fittings, coupled with fully insulated walls, floors and ceiling, we set the design for our Otter Pods, taking all these aspects into consideration.
Whichever Otter Pod you choose to stay in, you will be ensured the most comfortable of holidays, whilst enjoying one of the most beautiful parts of the East Devon countryside… we wouldn’t blame you if you just wanted to sit outside your Pod all day and watch nature go by!
